It was a stormy night and billy was sacred to death in his bed he had heard a weird noise but was afraid to get out of bed and see where the noise had come from he had finally gotten the courage to get up and go to the bathroom where he would quickly turn on the light he flicked the switch the light had not come on billy thought to himself that the power must have went out during the night. He went to go and get his flashlight that he had kept under his bed in case of an emergency. He grabbed it and flicked the switch light shot out of the front of the machine so he went to his parents room to tell them he had heard a noise he was on his way to his parents room when he heard a louder bang coming from down stairs so billy ran to his parents room flung the door open and ran to the bed he tugged at his moms blanket to find she wasn't there or his dad billy began to freak out so much he decided that his only option was to go down stairs and see what had made that noise and find his parents he tip toed down the stairs going into the living room everything looked fine until he went into the kitchen he saw there was a red substance on the ground near the refrigerator he opened the door to find all of the food was missing and it was all splatted all over the walls of the refrigerator Billy wasn't sure what was happening to him he had thought that he might be having a bad dream that he will wake up to his mother singing telling him to wake up but no he knew this wasn't a dream he had checked all of the rooms in the house expect for the basement he had always been afraid of the basement because of its dampness and darkness he swung open the door and shined the flashlight into the stairway he took step by step going down into the room he saw something on the ground so he shined his light onto it there was a note that said something so he went to pick it up and there was something that looked like ketchup he smelled it and it was blood it had a Metallica smell to it he finally turned it over and saw what the note said it said I've Been Waiting for you he dropped it and saw the door leading out of the basement slammed shut and all you could hear was a faint scream of a little boy.
