Minecraft : Xbox Edition

I made a house on the new Minecraft. It was mined in to a hill. I made an outpost far away from my house. I grow sugarcane there, and at my house I grow wheat.

Teacher Appreciation Week

There is a few teachers I thought teachers one is Mrs. Jackson. She couldn't get at anyone, and she would never yell at one kid named Remington. When he got in he would have to do more work. That is why shes a good teacher.

Blurred Out Images

I think only the symbols and names of places are unblurred. They're blurred because there from satelites. They can be blurred because to far away. They can be blurred because they're to close. Thats why I think their blurred.

Tech-Whiz!

This quarter I had the best class so far! I had Technology with Mrs. DeBolt. She made the class and projects SO fun! We had many fun projects, but my favorite was the Excel Color project. We made a mystery-picture with Microsoft Excel. My picture included Domo Kun, and Gir. It took a little while, considering I was absent the first day the assignment was given, but my intrigue for the project got the best of me and made me hurry to the finish-line. Mrs. DeBolt has taught us to type without looking, using both hands, how to navigate the Internet, work the computer, the parts of the computer, and so, so, so much more! I've had some pretty fun times in this class. They include: me reading a paper at an angle, slouched in my seat, and Mrs. DeBolt thinking I was texting, my praise for my blog titles, and ALL of the assignments. My least favorite project was... Well... I don't think I have one! Mrs. DeBolt, if you're reading this, DON'T CHANGE A THING! This class is perfect! All of the projects somehow end up interesting you in some way or another, no matter what. Projects from baseball, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and blogging make this class fun AND educational! I love this class!

Free As A Bee!

This weekend, I am going to start up again on my running. I used to run marathons, and play softball, but I am going to keep up on running so I can get ready for cross-country. Usually, after school, I get out my Nike Shox and hit the pavement. I can run for hours and miles, not bothering to stop. Most people hate the protests of their muscles after this sort of exercise, but I love it because I know that they're limbering up and becoming stronger. Running keeps my mind off of the things I've been stressing, upset, mad, and happy about, and all I think about is the road before me, and the next steps I'm going to take. I rarely take my music, because the songs can put me in a certain mood when I'd much rather have a blank mind, focused on nothing but the sounds of my shoes hitting the concrete, and my next moves. If I have to come to a stop for some reason, I just run in place. I like to push myself and see how far I can go. As long as I take my phone with me, I'm as free as a bee to fly where I want and when I want. This sort of solitude would usually drive me insane, but when I'm running, I prefer to be alone. I hate running and having to slow down for your partner to catch up, or stopping so they can take a break. Running is my favorite thing to do.

Dark Inspiration!

This photo makes me think of the circus, or hypnosis. It gives me a swirly, light-headed kind of feeling. It has many curves, rounded edges, and smooth sides. It makes me think of a Tim Burton film, or a scary, freaky kind of R.L. Stine book about a hallucination. This photo kind of gives me a slightly depressed, or dark, sensation. It makes me want to write a story about a ghost living in the Eiffel Tower, and playing tricks on peoples' minds. The scraggly limbs from the trees in this photo also adds to the eerie, scary mood. The sky almost looks darker than usual, and ominous. It makes me wonder if something bad is about to happen. I sort of get the feeling that something is about to fall, or jump out at me, which makes me want to draw a scary, Halloween-themed picture. I may be crazy to think this but I also wonder if, for whatever reason, the Eiffel Tower was made from clay.

Inspiration.

This photo makes me think of a lion... Just the way its face is shaped reminds me of this huge feline. But, as I look closer at it, I see houses, or buildings of some sort. I see windows, but cannot quite put my finger on what it may be. The colors used in this photo make me think that the mood is warm, and the setting is night. Although my guess is probably, and most likely, incorrect, no matter what possibilities I think of, I keep coming back to a lion.It makes me feel powerful. It may be a house, playground, lion, cat, chimney, or even a dog. I am NOT sure!

Get A Clue!

A few years ago, I got a super-secret spy kit. I knew my brother had been snooping in my room while I was at school, and I wanted to catch him. I knew he secretly ate my LipSmackers, and I wanted to catch the little brat. I had to eat about a gazillion Kid Cuisine TV dinners to receive only 15 super-secret tokens. Not to mention the $2.50 I sent in along with the cardboard circles. I waited almost 3 weeks for the kit to come. Every day, I'd wait by my Mommy's favorite recliner to peer outside and wait for the UPS truck. When the truck finally arrived, I shrieked in joy. I rushed my mother to the door where she signed for the package and took the brown box from the man. She happened to know the UPS driver, Chris, so they were distracted with catching up for the past 3 years. I hastily snatched the box and ran to my room where I set up my equipment. A motion detector that shot rubber missiles, a fingerprint duster and adhesive to grab fingerprint, binoculars, missile launcher, walkie-talkies, and even an alarm. I tested the missile launcher on Chris from my hideout in the hallway. I mean, what if it didn't work and didn't scare my brother away? What would I do? Needless to say, the next Monday I went to school, my brother was caught with my motion detector and all. I even had an opened lip balm, fingerprints, and scuff marks on the tile in the hallway from where his Nikes skidded as he ran. I caught him big time.

Put The "Fit" In Fitness!

I think physical education should be mandatory for all students! If we get a physical education regularly starting at an early age, we seem to be more active compared to those who do not have P.E. very often. Those who exercise and get active for at least 60 minutes a day tend to eat healthier diets, stay at a healthy weight, and compete in more sports or physical activities. Those who do not regularly get a spike in their heartbeat due to physical activities such as running, jumping jacks, or mountain climbers, or any strenuous activity at all, tend to be overweight with bad health. Physical education keeps children fit, occupied, out of trouble, and healthy. Those who get a regular workout tend to live a healthier, more active life. When people get older and age, their physical habits will show. If a heavy-set old man has a hard time walking long distances, it is more often than not that he had bad exercising habits and a poor diet. Most professional athletes had fun and enjoyed their P.E. classes so much, that they took up a career in a physical field, and even after retiring, they still exercise daily and maintain a healthy diet, resulting in a healthy lifestyle.

Gimme A Break!

So many things are bugging me right now! Some schools up north are starting to go to school only 4 days a week, excluding Monday! They get Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off! On top of that, I'm coming to school tired, cranky, and very, very behind on math lessons. It seems like I just can't grasp the concepts anymore.I come looking like a drowned cat every morning, and I just can't escape the drama! Anyone I talk to, anything I do, anything I think seems to get me into some kind of trouble. With friends, myself, parents, family, and administrators.Ugh... Maybe next week will be a chance to make things better.I really cannot afford to let my grades slip, get into any more trouble, or even get a H.O.T. Sheet. Oh, well. Most days I end up feeling better. My friends, such as Abby Kausler, Sarah Wilson, Tyler Sexton, and Hailey Colin, usually get me through the day.

The Helping Hand.

Once, when I was about, oh, maybe three months old, I got stuck in a car fire. My mother at the time was nineteen, and had locked the car doors at my grandparents' secluded farmhouse and went inside to pick up my diaper bag. See, my mother had a thyroid problem at that time and was always at the hospital getting tests done, so my grandmother took care of me. I was asleep the whole time, not knowing where I was, what I was doing, or what was going to happen. As I slept, dreaming of the things babies dream of, my car burst into flames. The engine and oil had a little dispute and decided to make a mountain out of a molehill, engulfing my car in flames. Not soon after I woke up to a loud BANG!, my mother was pulling me out, holding me to her chest and shudderring uncontrollably. Now, when my mother tells me this story, she stills blames herself for leaving me in the car. She even tells me how she busted the window just to grab me. If it weren't for my mom, I might not be here today... I'm very grateful, thankful, and very happy my mother helped me. I usually return the favor, helping my mom any way I can.

Smooth Criminal!

Have you ever been in a sticky situation? Like a very, very, very sticky situation? Not really sticky, just metaphorically speaking. I mean a very bad, even scary situation. In my case, however, it really was a sticky scenario. I have had many, many, many sticky situations! My brother, who at the time was only about seven, wanted to play "mummy". As I started to get our toilet paper, paper towels, and white duct tape together, my brother made my "tomb". He wrapped me in my "guaze" and "sealed in my youth" with duct tape. My little brother guided me to my "tomb"-an old plywood box- and helped me get comfortable before closing me up. Little did I know, as I was peacefully beginning to slip into the afterlife, I heard a loud rip! Before I knew it, my brother had taped me inside of the strong box, running to my bedroom to get my LipSmackers lip balm, for which he had an odd fetish with, and ate them! I had NO way out! The box was sticky, and I could not escape my wrappings. My mother, about an hour later, finally freed me. How sticky! It was almost as if he planned the whole thing. Talk about a Smooth Criminal!

Surely Some Amount Of Persuasion Will Change Your Mind!

I believe an indoor beach would be a great way to keep children occupied, out of trouble, and happily content with swimming, building sand castles, and sliding down water slides. An indoor pool would help keep children physically fit, entertained, and very warm. The beach would be open all year round, through summer's blistering heat, spring showers, fall leaves, and winter snows. A certain pool would be for the younger children, one that some may call a "kiddie pool". There would be sand, sandboxes, slides, and designated areas for water games, such as Marco Polo, the Bucket Dumper, diving games, and water basketball. For the older, more mature children and adults, a larger, deeper pool may be in order.

Give A Dog A Bone!

My favorite dog in the world is the Siberian husky. Their fur mainly consists of ashen colors; they have gray, black, and white fur covering their whole body. But, my favorite physical feature on the husky is their eyes. They are a pretty, sparkly, clear blue. Not very many dogs have blue eyes. They are usually brown and black (unless they're a Boston terrier and have two different colored eyes). Once my family and I move, which is (hopefully) soon, we are all-my mother, father, little brother and I-getting a dog of our choice. I'm sure you guessed it! I'm getting a Siberian husky puppy!

As predicted, with all good news, there is most likely a downside... My 6-year-old miniature beagle, Daisy, has a very bad tooth infection... When she was a puppy, we gave her a dog food that went on the recall list a week later. Needless to say, my dog's tooth infection has made her breath horrid, and gotten into her bloodstream. We have two options: get the teeth pulled, or put her to sleep... My family cannot afford to pay 10,000 some-odd dollars to pull her teeth... So, we have to put her down. I will never ever replace "Daisy-Doo".

Airplanes And Luggage And Passports, Oh My!

If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would travel to the Bahamas! I would love the heat, water, tropical foods, and pretty fish! I've written reports on the Bahamas, and learned that there are porpoises in their waters... I have an adoration for Beluga whales, porpoises, and coral. They fascinate me for some odd reason. As for the heat, I'm partial to warmth. I like winters and snow, but I prefer the heat. I could swim most of the year, surf, which I've always wanted to do, and even scuba dive! It has always been a dream of mine to be a big, top-of-the-world executive chef, so I would find it quite interesting to study the peoples' foods and diet.

Now That's What I Call Music!

I'm pretty easy-going when it comes to my tunes. I listen to anything from classical Tchaikovsky to hard metal from Avenged Sevenfold. I like all music and there is hardly ever a time when I absolutely can't stand  a band or even a song. My daddy and I usually go to a concert at least once a year, whether it be in Saint Louis or even in another state--which brings me to the purpose of this post. I get to go see a band here in a few weeks! I am going to see either Flyleaf, Cavo, Sick Puppies, Skillet, or Kings of Leon! Knowing my dad, though, and how immersed in music he is, he will want to see more than just one of them.

Me, Myself, And I!

I am a five-foot-four thirteen-year-old girl with naturally strawberry-blonde hair and eyes that alternate colors (I've noted that they change with the colors I am wearing on my clothes). My favorite colors are purple, red, neon orange, yellow, and green. As for food, I am a vacuum cleaner. I will eat basically anything... Just not fish! I like playing softball and the occasional Call of Duty match. My favorite baseball player of all time has to be Babe Ruth. I love drawing, singing, dancing, and writing. I have a passion for acting, and I have a secret obsession with Bob Marley's music. If anyone asks you what to get me for my birthday, reply with, "Anything 70's themed!".
